01–CORE OFFERING: WEDDING DAY BRIDAL STYLING
Our core styling offering includes the complete styling of up to two head-to-toe wedding day looks – typically your ceremony gown, along with a festive after party frock, or a chic getting ready ensemble. Each look is completed with accessory styling plus hair and makeup recommendations. This service includes in-person shopping for up to three bridal appointments and one in-person fitting with your stylist.

Sara brings an enthusiasm for sartorial expression and a creative spirit to her role as Lead Stylist at Downey Street Events. Sara’s love affair with style started at a young age; Vogue was her textbook, and the latest trends adorned her bedroom walls, pages carefully torn out and hung for reference while dressing. From eagerly anticipating the release of new designer collections each spring and fall to meticulously clicking through photos and bookmarking looks to emulate, Sara’s early fascination laid the foundation for her innate sense of style.
Intrigued by the world of weddings, Sara began producing events with Downey Street Events, where she learned closely from the team about all of the intricate planning and logistical details that make a successful event. This, coupled with her personal experience of working with a bridal stylist on a custom gown for her own wedding, propelled her to explore her true passion of bridal styling. As Lead Stylist at Downey Street Events, Sara has transformed her lifelong love for fashion into a remarkable skill for curating breathtaking bridal ensembles. Having a wedding planning and design background allows Sara to bring a unique understanding to the styling process. She recognizes the nuances of the event and how the fashion moments enhance this significant day, working in tandem with the rest of the creative partners to create a cohesive experience.
Prior to joining Downey Street, Sara excelled in the healthcare sector, where she focused on cultivating meaningful client partnerships. Her expertise lies in providing impeccable customer service, attentively listening to client’s needs, and establishing a foundation of trust. Sara’s unwavering commitment to ensuring clients feel truly valued and understood has not only defined her career but also stands as a notable quality she brings as a stylist, adding significant value to the client experience. Sara’s dedication is placed in creating ensembles that are a true reflection of the person wearing the garments, honoring their individuality with elegance and creativity. In her free time, Sara indulges in the vibrant happenings of New York City, where she calls home with her husband Noah. She enjoys exploring new foods and restaurants, taking sunny strolls through Central Park, and seeking inspiration while perusing some of the world’s best museums.
